Hannah Carr is a interdisciplinary artist and designer based in Kansas City. Working in both visual art and functional wearables, her work is best known for loud colorful forms as well as an experimental use of materials and print. In her most recent work she explores how analog techniques can create simple illustrations of digital artifice. She completed a two year Charlotte Street Foundation Studio Residency program after graduating from the Kansas City Art Institute (Fiber ’14). Hannah has shown locally in Kansas City at Paragraph Gallery, Bunker Center for the Arts, La Esquina Gallery, as well as nationally at LVL3 Gallery in Chicago, IL.
